WEBINAR: Pluses and Minuses of Assisted Living, for Policymakers and Consumers

Free Webinar – Oct. 15, 2013

Is assisted living a good option for a person needing long-term services and supports?
The answer is, in most cases, “it depends.” But on what does it depend?

This webinar, a joint effort of Assisted Living Consumer Alliance and National Senior Citizens Law Center, will answer this question from a public policy perspective and a consumer’s viewpoint, providing the listener with public policy recommendations and advice for individual consumers.

The webinar will include discussion of state assisted living law, federal Medicaid rules, and the growing impact of Medicaid managed care programs.

About Justice in Aging

Justice in Aging is a national non-profit legal advocacy organization that fights senior poverty through law. Formerly the National Senior Citizens Law Center, since 1972 we’ve worked for access to affordable health care and economic security for older adults with limited resources, focusing especially on populations that have traditionally lacked legal protection such as women, people of color, LGBT individuals, and people with limited English proficiency.
